Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP)
Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada offers a range of opportunities for enhancing your e-commerce presence. You can use it to create a new e-commerce website or to enhance your existing site with additional features like online reservation or booking tools, online ordering systems, electronic payment options, and search engine optimization (SEO). However, it’s important to note that simply redesigning your current website is not covered under this grant. Additionally, the grant can be applied towards the installation of an e-commerce platform, including any subscription fees or costs associated with it.
Another key aspect of this grant is its provision for hiring a consultant to assist with digital marketing strategies specifically tailored for your e-commerce store. This could encompass various activities, including social media advertising. However, it’s crucial to understand that the grant cannot be exclusively used for digital marketing or social media advertising. These activities must be part of a broader e-commerce implementation strategy, rather than standalone efforts.
